House Hunting

  • Every couple dreams of having a house that they could call home. 
  • Since Syahmi is now working in Rawang (instead of Kota Damansara), we have decided to rent a house nearby. 
  • So we went to Rawang but at the end of the day, we failed to accept the environment, surroundings, habitat, atmosphere segala etc. 
  • That is the problem of being in comfort 24/7. 

  • Before we went home, we did stop to look for a new built house.
  • Hoping that we could find one and try to make do with "what we have". ie. will just accept Rawang as it is. 



  • Pak Guard: Rumah tinggal 3 units saja. 
  • Ayla: You tahu range harga rumah-rumah ni?
  • Pak Guard: Yang intermediate 6 juta yang corner 10 juta.
  • Ayla: 10 juta??!!
  • Pak Guard oh Pak Guard. Kok ya pun nak taruk harga, biarlah elok-elok sikit. Ingat I ni datang dari dalam laut ke tak tahu nak value land.
  • Babe: Alah. He meant 600 ribu and 1 juta tu.





  • Sampai depan sales gallery, the sales guy terus masuk konon lepas check kita orang tak naik Maserati.
  • The sales guy, God knows. He's way too cocky! 
  • I felt like spitting right on his face. 
  • I bet if he knew that I could simply write a RM12mil cheque, pantas dia bentang red carpet siap tabur rose petals and suap I grapes lagi you.
  • (RM12mil? Duit siapa you nak cekau oh Ayla oit. Dreaming lagi ke.)
  • He told us arrogantly that only 3 houses are let. Starting at RM900k. 
  • Since I'm so good at acting, terus I buat muka tak heran. 
  • Menyumpah yang polite terkeluar juga sikit I ni. 


I won't reveal the developer. Just google anggun 2 residence and insyaAllah you will find the developer. Hak tuih. 

  • RM900k tak worth langsung untuk land dekat situ.
  • Since I rasa macam busuk hati je semalam, I fikir orang yang beli rumah-rumah tu with that kind of price di kawasan macam tu, memang orang yang cow-cow kena tipu or perhaps 'kurang pandai'.
  • Tak pun Cina Sales guy to tipu I. Marketing lah katakan. Konon nak bagi tahu rumah tu laku. 
  • Hak tuih lagi sekali. 
  • (oh I pantas marah, tornado sekali keluar. But darling husband boleh kata dia suka time I tengah marah orang lain. Time marah dia? haha. Fine thank you bye.)





  • Dah lah main road to that residential area jalan lubang-lubang. 
  • And then amenities super kurang. 
  • Dapat pula main road tu jalan lori segala. 
  • Pulak tu lori kuasa halilintar, laju yang amat.
  • Not that the same developer will fix the uneven road.
  • Tahu kenapa?
  • Pasal tu jalan kerajaan kan?
  • Apa dia kisah. 

  • Lepas tu we went to another new residential area. 
  • Just 3 minutes away from "rumah 10juta" tu. 
  • The sales lady was sooooooooo nice. 
  • She even told us that houses in Rawang are meant to live in but not for investment. 
  • "Tak ada orang nak beli. Susah nak tolak balik."
  • She asked us to wait for another 2-3 years for a new township near Subang Bistari. 
  • Hamek you, dia pun orang Subang kannn. Jiran I jauh sikit dalam 15min. Hahaha. 
  • See, sangat beda dengan sales person yang the first one tu. 
  • Kalau I nak cakap Cina racists, too general. 
  • Sebab dua-dua pun chinese. 
  • So, I macam nak conclude yang the first one tu je yang racists and nak target orang naik Bugatti Veyron je. 
  • I might be wrong =)

  2. Tu lah Su. Location best mahal sangat. Dekat rawang ada teres house yang baru nak build rm300k. But Rawang lah. Sales lady tu sendiri cakap not worth buying.
    Camni Ayla pasang khemah kat padang depan rumah ma je la.

  3. Hopefully both of u will find a house that affordable. At least try to calculate to buy a house that u cud settle less than 20 years instead of 30 years.
